Part - 3 | PG/Flat - Hostel Search Near CDAC ACTS, Pune

* Earlier CDAC was in Aundh but later it moved to Panchawati which is located in between Shivajinagar and Pashan and hardly takes 5-10 mins from both places to travel to CDAC Building by Public Transport (PMPL) and has continuous buses at an interval of 15 min travelling to and fro.

If you have chosen CDAC ACTS , first thing especially for PG-DAC course, practicals (3-hrs each) happens in batches like 240 students are divided into four batches and it depends on lecture timings suppose

For certain Modules, if lecture time (4-6hrs) is in the afternoon then 1st & 2nd Batch will have practical in the morning at 7:30 AM and after the lecture, the 3rd & 4th Batch will have practical in the evening starting at 6 PM.

For certain Modules lecture may be in Morning at 7:00 AM or in Evening at 6 PM lasting till 10 PM as it depends on Faculty (At CDAC ACTS all modules at thought by Experienced External Faculties) and Lab Faculty are different and are working in industries (Most time they are Ex-CDAC employee or Students)

hope you got an idea, how is daily schedule in CDAC. So if you are not from Pune localite, then you can get PG or Rented Flats (Un-Furnished or Semi-Furnished) at reasonable rent between 2k - 3k in Pashan/Bavdan (can travel by bus or bike).

In case you want to reduce the travelling effort you have an option for PG/Flat in Panchwati itself walking distance from CDAC. Here people living nearby want to get rich early and it's our duty to help them achieve their dream so they have decided to rent PG starting from 5k - 6k /month for no reason. Some PG give all facilities and some don't give much at the same price, so BEWARE while choosing. 

Ensure they give the following facilities:

1) Cleaning Service every other day

2) R/O Purifier installed (Not even a water JAR because it has Corporation Water)

3) Wi-Fi

4) Clean Floor and Rooms (Not even single Spider in any corner at the time of joining)

5) Cupboard, Table, and Chair

6) Gas and Gieser

7) Electricity Bill (If PG they will pay, in case of rented Flat distribute among)

Beware of some PG Owners, here is how? (based on my experience)

1) If they are promising to repair or get something set-up or provide facility mentioned above in a week or month don't believe them, (they will never give that even after the course is over) 

2) Its rules to accommodate 4 students in (1BHK) and 6 students in (2BHK) 

*But some PG owners are so poor even they arrange student stay in Kitchen 

3) Visit 3-4 PG's and make choice wisely.

Food Tiffin Service is available and also Breakfast, Lunch available is for students there itself in CDAC premise. 

Do not Prefer Outside Food in Panchwati as it is not Hygenic and you may feel sick.

Some Suggestion: 

(Mostly Do not Prefer Some Flat or PG in Madhunkunj Society)

1) Flat available in SBI colony (For Both Boys/Girls)

2) PG By Prasad (boys) and Other PG (Girls) available in Silver Spring 

3) Flat in Priyadarshini and Durvankur (For Both Boys/Girls)

4) Flat in Vrindavan (For Both Boys & Girls)

5) Bungalow Behind Krishna Corner (For Girls)

6) Girls Hostel by NCL

For More Suggestion, you can contact a local broker or Search 99acres or MagicBricks or Previous Batch Students.

P.S: As CDAC course is only of 5 Month (Teaching & CCEE Exam) + (Another Month for Project Followed by Placement Activity)
