Part - 8 : How to Prepare for Placements ?

We all know If one who prepares well, guided by someone and knows the right track, then the benefits/outcome would be times.
For the same purpose, I am writing this article on How to prepare for Placement?

After Investing almost 5 Months, Learning New Tech Skills and the Immediate 15 Days by using the same knowledge in Making Fresh Full Stack Projects using the different combinations of Framework.

Finally, the time has come to show Companies out there, a Reason Why they should hire you? And this is our aim why we are here in CDAC i.e Placement.
So we can't afford to make a mistake at any point in time during Placement.

On the Zeroth (0th) Day of Placement CDAC R&D comes for hiring, If you are one who loves to do Research and Development and wants to work on Projects for Social Cause i.e by Govt then this is your chance.

Before Placement Season starts, make sure you are clear with most of the important concepts in Java, OOPS, Data Structure, DBMS (SQL) and Angular. Also, you have done enough practice of aptitude topics because all companies take Aptitude and Verbal Test and Technical MCQ Test as their First Round.
Along with these companies includes Coding Test (JAVA, C++, SQL Queries) with First Round. Refer This https://github.com/vaibhavdes/ACTS/tree/master/Placement

Once Placement Starts, CDAC will shoot emails daily which will have Job Description, Schedule and Interview Round Information, and Shortlisted Students List and also Shortlisted Students will get separate App Notification.

Make sure you search about the company on Glassdoor [ More specifically search according to Position they are hiring for and also sort to recent interview experience you may get interview questions as well :-) ] and Also Read for Previous Interview Experiences on GeeksForGeeks, Glassdoor.

Companies takes their Online Coding Round  on Platforms like HackerRank, HackerEarth, CodeChef, I have observed that the question which are asked, similar kind of Coding Questions with some variations are already present on this Platform, make sure you keep practicing on each concepts. Also SQL Queries are also asked with joins so practice it as well.

Be Cool, Confident & Calm during Interview Rounds, Before Interview Starts, some companies have Orientation to introduce their org and to tell more about rounds and students can ask Questions about Technology company uses.

During the Interview answer slowly and with patience, because it can be a win-win condition if you forget the answer, and remembers certainly. And it is fine some time to tell if you don't know the answer, but don't just say you have forgotten.

Also know well about your Graduation and CDAC Projects because in most of the interviews it is asked and sometimes there might be separate rounds for this where they will ask about Idea, Technology and related questions about projects.

And the last one is HR round which is to check how effective is your communication (they will ask general questions about you), and in a few interviews salary discussion takes place.

------
Even if you do not make through interview rounds, analyze yourself which area is lagging and practice soon, No Breaks allowed, Because the very first you get placed you have the benefit to grab high package Job Offers. :-)

-----

After All, the moment comes, for which you were waiting a long and that is a Final Select Announcement, and when the Placement ID card is taken from you, and when you are handed over with the Offer Letter :-)

Do not forget to Open the Placement App, the Very Next Day, because the screen of the phone will flash with the Special Message for you from CDAC :-)

Hope this Post has provided to you with sufficient idea about Placement.
