I hope your preparation for CCAT is going well, Just to add to it, I am sharing a few things so you don't miss anything that is important from the Entrance Exam Perspective.
For the E-DAC Batch CDAC will be offering following courses :
1) DAC
2) DMC
3) DBDA
4) DAI
as this batch will be Online, they have reduced fees by almost 50%.
EXAM PATTERN :
C-CAT for Online Diploma admissions has only one test paper of 90-minute duration, containing 75 objective-type questions.
Each question will have four choices as possible answers of which only one will be correct.
There will be +3 (plus three) marks for each correct answer, -1 (minus one) for each wrong answer, and 0 (zero) marks for each un-attempted question.
The maximum mark a candidate can obtain in C-CAT is 225.
LEARNING TRACK :
Section A : (English / Quantitative Aptitude / Reasoning)
(Refer CCAT Syllabus on Official CDAC Website for Topics)
1. Try to Solve 40-50 Unsolved Questions from RS Agrawal
2. IndiaBix and Talentsprint are good blogs to clear basic concepts on Quant.
3. Reasoning Questions Mostly comes from RS Agrawal, have a look at questions of each type.
4. On IndiaBix if you are referring then for each question don't check the solution, instead, read the comments/discussion section, it will clear all your concept for relevant questions of that particular topic.
Section B : (Computer Fundamental / C Programming / Data Structure / OOPS Concepts )
1. The exam will have most of the C Programming Question where you have to answer based on Program Given (Refer: Let Us C for Concepts)
2. PROGRAM's will be more based on concepts like Pointer (Array, String), Matrix (Array with Dimensions), Macros and more.
3. OOPS, based Theory Questions will be in the exam and also there will be few Program based.
4. OS concepts are more important and problems do come based on Process.
5. Basic Data Structure Question includes based on operations performed on the array, queue, linked list, and graph transformation like (BFS)
** I saw CPP Program Questions in 2019 Exam be prepared for that as well.
